Mi-Voice were appointed to manage the entire voting process for the Wrexham Supporters’ Trust EGM, including two voting rounds, one at the Club’s virtual SGM and the other to ratify the proposed takeover.

In September 2020, members initially voted in favour to allow talks on the proposed takeover. Then prior to voting opening for the second round of voting on the takeover itself, a virtual club meeting took place over Zoom on Sunday 8th November 2020, where the new owners showcased their vision for the club and members were invited to ask questions. Voting instructions were then sent to members providing them with a week to vote on the takeover.

The majority of members voted online, with postal ballots distributed to any member without a registered email address.

There was significant turnout for the ballot at 91.5%. Over 2000 WST members participated, with an overwhelming 98.6% members voting in favour of the takeover. 26 voted against the takeover and 9 abstained.
