Mi-Voice’s customers (the organisations running the election, referendum or survey you are participating in using our platform) may collect personal information through our voting website (www.mi-vote.com).

What type of information is collected from you?
What (if any) personal information is collected, is dependent on whether the event you are participating in requires anonymity and what questions our clients have asked.

The personal information we collect may include (but not limited to) your name, address, age, email and address.

How is your information used?
Whilst this data is stored on our servers we will NOT use it for any other activity or purpose other than facilitating the event as requested by our clients. The information stored does not belong to Mi-Voice.

Mi-Voice has no control over what questions our client’s ask and if you have any questions about how the information will be used by the organisation conducting the event you are participating in, we would respectfully ask you to contact them directly.

We may use your information to:

  • Process your voting preference;
  • Process your details on behalf of the client;
  • Contact you regarding the event you have been registered with.

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of Gift Aid). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract between Mi-Voice and our clients. www.mi-voice.com and www.mi-vote.com will work with or without cookies (depending on your security preferences). A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. www.mi-nomination.com requires cookies in order to work.

What do we use Cookies for?
There are 2 main reasons Mi-Voice uses cookies. The first is to help protect the security of the site through the use of a Microsoft Anti Forgery Token. The second is for google analytics. Please note that all information is anonymised and no personal data is shared with Google. We use this service simply to understand traffic patterns on all our sites.
