Job Title:  Business Support Executive – Maternity Cover

Reports To:  Lauren Evans – Business Support Manager

Location: Office-based role

Primary Function:

To support the Account Manager with the delivery of client projects, providing telephone and email support to clients and their members.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

  • Creation of detailed project timelines based on key dates provided by the client
  • Set up of online voting and nomination sites
  • Checking/testing of events prior to going live
  • Creation and proofreading of documentation to support events
  • Creating, testing and sending of email campaigns
  • Liaising regularly with the client to ensure the smooth running of the process
  • Regular communication with the Account Manager throughout the process
  • Declaration of results

Customer Service:

  • Dealing effectively with enquiries by telephone and email
  • Manage and prioritise support tickets
  • Communicating coherently by email in response support tickets
  • Problem-solving customer issues

Data Management:

  • Using Excel to sort/group/name/analyse and move data as required
  • Purging of data as required
  • Data Entry
  • – Entering data from postal ballots

Admin:

  • Opening and sorting post
  • Proof reading internal documentation
  • Testing pending Mi-Voice releases
  • Providing ad hoc assistance to the company directors

Essential Skills:

  • Be able to communicate effectively by phone, email or in person
  • Confident in handling customer enquiries
  • Excellent grammar and spelling
  • Strong Excel and data management skills
  • Strong Word skills
  • Good understanding of internet browsers and technology
  • Confident at learning new software
  • General Microsoft office skills
  • Confident at liaising with senior members of the business
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • High level of accuracy

Essential Qualifications:

  • A*- C in Maths and English in GCSE

Desirable Experience:

  • Admin/banking experience
  • Customer Relations or Customer service background
  • Account management experience
  • Supervisory experience
