Appointment as Independent Scrutineer for Trade Union Ballots and Elections
We are delighted to announce that following an update to the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, Mi-Voice has been appointed as a qualified independent person, known as a ‘scrutineer’ and is now authorised to conduct Trade Union ballots and elections.
The statutory ballots and elections in question are those relating to the election of members of the executive committee and certain officers, the maintenance of a political fund, mergers with another union and the taking of industrial action.
Our team already has extensive Trade Union experience, having worked with organisations including the Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU), UNISON, British Medical Association (BMA), BALPA and The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM).
We look forward to bringing our customer focused approach to this market that has served us so well in the Professional Body, Local Government, NHS and Housing Association sectors over the past 10 years.
