Mi-Voice appointed to run Commonwealth Youth Council Elections in 2018

Mi-Voice is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to run the nominations and voting process for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Youth Council Elections 2018. Nominations have now opened and voting is due to take place in April 2018. This is the third time that Mi-Voice has been appointed to run the CYC elections and Mi-Voice is proud of its involvement with this important youth participation project.

Appointment as Independent Scrutineer for Trade Union Ballots and Elections We are delighted to announce that following an update to the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992, Mi-Voice has been appointed as a qualified independent person, known as a ‘scrutineer’ and is now authorised to conduct Trade Union ballots and elections. The statutory ballots and elections in question are those relating to the election of members of the executive committee and certain officers, the maintenance of a political fund, mergers with another union and the taking of industrial action.

Mi-Voice used to conduct first ever online Belize Youth Council Elections Mi-Voice has just completed the Belize Department of Youth Services first National District Youth Council Elections. In total 6 Districts ran online ballots to appoint representatives to the position of President, Vice President, Public Relations Officer, Treasurer and Secretary. Mi-Voice created the online ballots on the Department’s behalf with local polling stations set up to record the votes through online terminals.
